History
Since its founding in 1985, Città Group has made a lasting impact on Victoria’s urban landscape and in the lives of countless satisfied clients. In the mid-1980s, many of the buildings that now define Old Town Victoria were derelict and facing demolition. By collaborating with prominent community figures, Città played a pivotal role in preserving these architectural landmarks and safeguarding the city’s heritage.
The company’s dedication to heritage restoration has earned numerous accolades from the Hallmark Society, recognizing its outstanding contributions to the design and preservation of Old Town Victoria. Today, many of these revitalized buildings remain beloved landmarks— a testament to the enduring quality and vision of Città’s work.
Sustainability
We are deeply committed to sustainable, environmentally responsible building practices that protect the natural environment. As proud members of Built Green Canada, we have taken an active leadership role in advancing sustainability within the industry. Representatives from Città have served on the Built Green Canada Board of Directors, helping guide the organization’s national efforts to promote responsible building practices.
In 2022, we partnered with Built Green Canada and its Technical Standard Committee to launch the Small Commercial building program. Our office and millwork shop became the first project certified under this initiative, achieving Platinum certification, the program’s highest level of recognition.
